Job description

As Cultivation Team Leader you have various tasks that you can structure as you see fit. You will be responsible for 3 teams within our nursery: potting, spacing and internal logistics. A varied and challenging role in which your responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling the workforce for cultivating our Phalaenopsis;
  • Ensuring with the teams that the targets set are met in terms of both quantity and quality;
  • Coordinating the space requirements in the nursery with the cultivation specialists and work preparation;
  • Scheduling and counting the plants to be spaced and chilled, taking account of the eight varieties and colours;
  • Keeping records in PowerApps and other systems;
  • Monitoring progress, order and tidiness within your department.

Working at World of Orchids means that you will be part of a great committed team. You will be working at a modern nursery in Bleiswijk. Naturally we offer a salary appropriate to the role, with an indication of € 3,800 (not all-in). Working hours are from 07:00 – 16:30, with the option to work 4 days. You are entitled to 25.5 holiday days when employed full-time. We are offering a permanent contract for the right candidate.
