As Cultivation Team Leader you have various tasks that you can structure as you see fit. You will be responsible for 3 teams within our nursery: potting, spacing and internal logistics. A varied and challenging role in which your responsibilities will include: <\/p>\n

    \n
  • Scheduling the workforce for cultivating our Phalaenopsis;<\/li>\n
  • Ensuring with the teams that the targets set are met in terms of both quantity and quality;<\/li>\n
  • Coordinating the space requirements in the nursery with the cultivation specialists and work preparation;<\/li>\n
  • Scheduling and counting the plants to be spaced and chilled, taking account of the eight varieties and colours;<\/li>\n
  • Keeping records in PowerApps and other systems;<\/li>\n
  • Monitoring progress, order and tidiness within your department. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The right candidate will be familiar with the cultivation of plants or flowers and managing teams. In addition, we are looking for someone with: <\/p>\n

    • Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a similar role;<\/li>\n
    • Minimum MBO (Intermediate Vocational Education) level of working and thinking;<\/li>\n
    • Command of Dutch and English;<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office;<\/li>\n
    • A driving licence;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

      Working at World of Orchids means that you will be part of a great committed team. You will be working at a modern nursery in Bleiswijk. Naturally we offer a salary appropriate to the role, with an indication of \u20ac 3,800 (not all-in). Working hours are from 07:00 – 16:30, with the option to work 4 days. You are entitled to 25.5 holiday days when employed full-time. We are offering a permanent contract for the right candidate. <\/p>\n
