No two days are the same in my job as a cultivation specialist. Together with my cultivation colleagues we make sure we deliver the most beautiful and healthiest plants right on time. Working together on a beautiful product – that’s what it’s all about.
World of Orchids is a modern nursery and the people that work here are great. I support the sales department by entering orders and keeping the records. That means there’s lots of variety in the work, which I really enjoy.
In my role as Operator it is important to have an overview of the stock of plants and the orders. Because I’ve been working at World of Orchids since 2013, I’ve gained experience in different departments. This means that I can do my job as Operator well. I’m having a great time – the days fly by!
As team leader I make sure work gets done on time and properly. World of Orchids looks after its people well. If you do your best, you have the chance to progress and gain new experiences. There’s a nice atmosphere, and that’s why I’ve been working here for four years already.
No two days are the same in this dynamic and diverse role. Your main task is to streamline inbound and outbound logistics and prepare orders, in collaboration with your colleagues from the logistics team.
As Cultivation Team Leader you have various tasks that you can structure as you see fit. You will be responsible for 3 teams within our nursery: potting, spacing and internal logistics.
