We believe that sustainability is the future. That means that we have to make conscious choices. To make progress every single day in creating the best possible growing environment for both our Phalaenopsis and the environment. We’d love to tell you more about it:
We generate our energy with our own combined heat and power plant. We also use residual heat from RoCa.
The nursery is fully equipped with LED lighting. These lights last a long time and consume less energy than standard lighting.
The water used in the nursery is cleaned and reused through a closed water system. This means we limit our water consumption.
We use biological crop protection in our cultivation. These insects protect our plants and control pests and diseases.
Our waste is fully separated. Hence we separate all plastic, paper, green and residual waste that is created within the nursery.
We also treat our people in a sustainable manner. There is room for growth and open dialogue, and we believe a good working atmosphere is very important.
We make these efforts because of our desire to do good for our environment. We are proud to have be awarded several certificates for these efforts. A team achievement!
